We need you on our team!
The PEP Foundation removes barriers to student achievement by connecting donors and community partners to the needs of local students and schools. Read more about our initiatives below!
The BackPack Program:
The BackPack Program provides WEEKLY food bags to over 825 students experiencing food insecurity in the Putnam County School System.
Student Needs Fund:
The Student Needs Fund supports students and their families experiencing extenuating circumstances that create educational or safety hardships by providing funding for certain hardships like medical/dental, transportation, utilities, or housing. PEP partners with PCSS case workers and local organizations to ensure swift and efficient relief for students, which allows them to focus on academic achievement and growth.
Care Closets and Student Needs Drives
We believe that school employees shouldn’t have to use their money to cover the needs of children in their classrooms. Our goal this coming year is to fund the full stocking of school care closets with essential items (clothing, hygiene supplies, and emergency food boxes) and to provide schools with resources to meet unexpected needs that arise for students throughout the school day!
Future Ready Fund
The Future Ready Fund supports extra-curricular and personal development-based opportunities within the Putnam County School System. They do this through their PERFORMING ARTS GRANT, CTE GRANT, and Other special investments that increase opportunities for students. Many times, allowing students, whose families are experiencing financial hardships, to participate in optional programming in the same capacity as their peers.
